The primary objective of this prospective, randomized, non-blinded, multicenter, parallel-group study was to demonstrate that a reduced number of intravesical BCG instillations is non-inferior to the standard regimen for prevention of recurrence in high-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer. The primary study endpoint was time to first recurrence; secondary endpoints were number and degree of differentiation of tumor recurrences, progression rate, and safety.
