The Interdisciplinary Center for Clinical Research (IZKF) in Jena is the central 
funding instrument for the promotion of young researchers at the Jena Medical Faculty. 
Through tireless calls for proposals in the individual funding lines, the aim is to 
specifically target those interested in research at all career stages, thereby 
significantly increasing the potential for third-party funding and publication output. 
Suitable candidates are selected transparently through a peer-review process.
