Start-up funding

With this funding, we aim to support the initial career steps after completing a PhD thesis. To be eligible for funding, applicants must have submitted their PhD thesis, have an accepted or submitted publication, and have actively participated in structured graduate programmes. The funding period is from 1 July 2025 to 31 December 2025.

Funding will include a full-time position (E13) for three to six months, plus €1,000 per month to cover consumables. Applications are open until 31 August 2025.

Proposals will be evaluated by independent reviewers based on originality, scientific quality and feasibility. Decisions will be made based on these reviews and the available budget.
