Modul Klinische Chemie / mikroskopische Diagnostik

The aim of the module "Molecular Diagnostics" is

to provide you with the basics of optical microscopy
to give you an introduction into the principles of fluorescence spectroscopy
to show you some fluorescence labelling techniques
and to introduce you into several fluorescence imaging techniques.

This semester the module is organized by the

Institute of Applied Optics
(J. Krawinkel & A. Heisterkamp)

and the

Biomolecular Photonics Group
(F. Förtsch, B. Hoffmann, C. Melle, R. Strathausen, A. Wiesenburg & C. Biskup)

The module will be held at the "Theoretical Institutes" ("Medizinisch-Theoretische Institute") of the medical faculty and the Department of Physics.

Lectures and seminars will be given in the seminar room 1 of the building Nonnenplan 4, 1st floor, starting on Monday 07.05.2012 8.15 a.m.

Practical courses will take place in the Department of Physics (Max Wien Platz 1, 1 st floor) in the central labs of the Theoretical Institutes (Room 127) and in the laboratories of the Biomedical Photonics Group (Nonnenplan 2, 1st floor, Room 113+115).
